Dr. Joel Davis
Doctor of Dental Surgery, Owner
Dr. Davis graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He finds his life purpose in serving others. He believes in spreading the healing ministry of Jesus by treating the mind and the body, and not just someone’s dental needs. When he is not here in the office transforming smiles, he enjoys spending time with his family and being involved in his church through music and Bible study. He also loves to get outside and camp or mountain bike.
Dr. James Thompson Jr.
Doctor of Dental Surgery
Dr. Thompson is from right here in Chattanooga. He attended Rhodes College for undergrad and received his dental degree from the University of Tennessee. Dentistry has been a very fulfilling career for multiple decades and it's exceptionally rewarding to directly improve the smiles and health of his patients. When he is not in the office, he enjoys biking, fishing, skiing, and golf. He and his lovely wife (Sean) have two sons (Clay and Patrick).
Dr. Cyntoia Nandy
Doctor of Dental Surgery
Dr. Nandy is a Loma Linda University-educated dentist known for advanced dental treatments and is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. Born in Nairobi, Kenya, Dr. Nandy has a story of resilience and global adventure. At True Dental, they lead a dynamic team committed to empowering patients. Beyond dentistry, Dr. Nandy enjoys travel, podcasts, and CrossFit. Join them for a journey to enhance your smile and oral health.

Jackie
Registered Dental Hygienist
Jackie started as a certified Dental Assistant and later became a registered Dental Hygienist, with a career dating back to 1986. She has a notable history of involvement in dental associations and charity work. Jackie cherishes the family-oriented atmosphere at True Dental, is married with three grown children and five grandchildren, and enjoys supporting UTC football. She also loves participating in Bible Study Fellowship and bunko.
Brenda
Registered Dental Hygienist
Brenda is a Registered Dental Hygienist with experience in a wide range of dental procedures and office responsibilities since 2014. She values the people she works with and the opportunity to improve patients' oral health while listening to their life stories. Brenda is a proud member of a close-knit family, enjoys outdoor activities like camping and hiking, and spends quality time with her husband and two children.

Registered Dental Hygienist
Trista is a Registered Dental Hygienist with experience since her graduation from Chattanooga State Community College in 2014. She joined True Dental in 2019, and treasures our family-like atmosphere, enabling her to provide the best care for our patients. Originally from Dalton, Georgia, she has lived in Chattanooga for 5 years with her husband and two children and enjoys staying active and spending quality time with her family.

Registered Dental Hygienist
Pam brings a versatile skill set to dentistry at True Dental, including organization, hospitality, discernment, and a strong faith in Jesus. With a dental career spanning since 1983, she briefly dedicated time to missionary work before returning to dental hygiene. Pam cherishes the exceptional colleagues and doctors at True Dental and enjoys outdoor activities, travel, and creating memories with her husband in her free time.
Tamara
Registered Dental Hygienist
Tamara is a Registered Dental Hygienist here to provide comprehensive oral care. She loves being able to see the smiling faces of patients as they walk out of our dental office with a bright and shining smile. She is dedicated to providing the best care possible to everyone she sees, including making sure everyone is comfortable and relaxed. When you see Tamara you can expect nothing less than a friendly personality and great appointment.
Traci
Registered Dental Assistant
Traci is a highly skilled Registered Dental Hygienist who has been practicing since 2004. She brings a wealth of experience from her work in private practice, community clinics, and corporate dentistry. Originally from near Lake Michigan, she moved to Chattanooga in 2017 to be closer to her family. Outside of work, Traci enjoys gardening, exploring architecture, reading, and spending time with her loved ones, including her furry companions.
Azia
Registered Dental Assistant
Azia has been a Dental Assistant since 2010 and is now happy to be a part of the incredible team at True Dental. She really enjoys the friendly work environment and has been fortunate to built strong relationships with her colleagues. When away from work, she likes to spend time with her cousins, going on cruises, visiting Disney World, and crocheting. Azia can't wait to see you leave our dental office with an incredible smile.
Sidney
Registered Dental Assistant
Sidney is a Registered and Certified Dental Assistant who graduated from Chattanooga State's Dental Assisting program in 2020. She values working with compassionate colleagues who share a passion for patient care and the opportunities for growth and learning at True Dental. In her free time, Sidney enjoys taking part in outdoor activities like hiking with her dogs and trying new restaurants with her husband.
Jasmine
Registered Dental Assistant
Jasmine is a Registered Dental Assistant with a certificate from Chattanooga State Community College in 2019. She finds fulfillment in working with her colleagues at True Dental and putting smiles on patients' faces daily. Originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina, she moved to Chattanooga in 2016. Away from the office, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband and son.
Kristy
Interim Director of Operations
Kristy has been involved in dentistry since 2017 and supported her husband's dental journey since 2009. She values True Dental's team approach to compassionate care and enjoys easing the fears of patients with past negative experiences. She wants every dental experience to be a great one. Originally from South Louisiana, she has called Chattanooga home since 2015, indulging in outdoor activities, photography, and spending time with loved ones.
Beverly
Director of Finance
As our Director of Finance, Beverly oversees the day-to-day operations, ensuring our patients a smooth and efficient dental experience. While many patients are often concerned and nervous about the actual dental treatments, many can also be equally as concerned about payments and financing. Beverly does everything possible to make this process as easy as possible for those who visit True Dental for a bright and healthy smile.
Margo
Director of Marketing
Margo brings over eight years of marketing experience and business development knowledge and to True Dental. Despite no background in dentistry, she values the friendly atmosphere and skilled professionals at True Dental. Originally from Collierville, TN, she now resides in Chattanooga with her husband and daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting custom jewelry, gardening, baking sourdough, and diving into audiobooks.
Camille
Insurance Billing Coordinator
With over two decades of experience in dentistry, Camille brings a wealth of expertise and dedication. Starting her career in 2004 as a dental assistant, she has since excelled in various roles, including office manager and treatment coordinator, with a strong focus on front office administration. Outside of work, Camille enjoys spending time outdoors with her two daughters and fur-puppies, indulging in activities like hiking and paddleboarding.

Admin Coordinator
April is the Admin Coordinator at the Chattanooga office, overseeing daily front desk operations. She graduated from Dalton State College in 2007 and has found her way to our incredible team at True Dental. She joy in helping patients have the best experience possible when they visit our Chattanooga office. Away from work at True Dental, she loves hiking and exploring new places with her husband and dog .
Taylor
Admin Assistant
Taylor brings over 5 years of administrative experience to True Dental and values the family-like atmosphere and exceptional patient care provided by the team. Originally from Chattanooga, she and her husband met in the United Kingdom before returning home to start their family. Taylor's interests outside of work include traveling, spending time with loved ones, reading, and enjoying music and nature.

Admin Assistant/RDA
Sheela is a dental professional who specializes in using tools like the CEREC® Omnicam scanner and keeping up with OSHA regulations. She has been in the dental field since 2016 and is dedicated to constantly improving her skills. She also participates in dental charities. She feels at home at True Dental and is excited to learn from her colleagues. Outside of work, Sheela enjoys hiking, traveling, crafting, and spending time with her family in Chattanooga.
Michelle
Admin Assistant
Michelle was born and raised in Cleveland, TN, just 20 minutes outside of Chattanooga. While fairly new to the dental industry, she is quickly learning as an excellent admin assistant. Michelle has been married to her husband, Don, for over 20 years and has three children. When away from work, she loves family get-togethers, traveling, and spending time at the beach. She also enjoys watching her son play soccer and going to church as a family.
