Dr. Joel Davis
DDS, Owner
Dr. Davis graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He finds his life purpose in serving others. He believes in spreading the healing ministry of Jesus by treating the mind and the body, and not just someone’s dental needs. When he is not here in the office transforming smiles, he enjoys spending time with his family and being involved in his church through music and Bible study. He also loves to get outside and camp or mountain bike.
Dr. Julianna Stanford
DMD
Dr. Julianna Stanford specializes in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles that look as great as they feel. A graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry in Jackson, MS, Dr. Stanford combines her clinical expertise with a genuine passion for patient care.She loves working alongside the compassionate team at True Dental, where every patient is treated with care that goes beyond their dental needs.
Dr. Kristina Slavik
DDS
Dr. Slavik has been practicing dentistry since 2021 and has training in implants, clear aligners, extractions, bone grafting, and 3D printing through the Engel Institute. She loves the full spectrum of general dentistry and the transformative impact it has on patients' smiles. Dr. Slavik is thrilled to return to her hometown of Chattanooga with her husband, Alex, and enjoys hiking, cooking, reading, and globe-trotting. She’s currently on a mission to visit all 7 continents!

Jackie
Registered Dental Hygienist
Jackie started as a certified Dental Assistant and later became a registered Dental Hygienist, with a career dating back to 1986. She has a notable history of involvement in dental associations and charity work. Jackie cherishes the family-oriented atmosphere at True Dental, is married with three grown children and five grandchildren, and enjoys supporting UTC football. She also loves participating in Bible Study Fellowship and bunko.
Brenda
Registered Dental Hygienist
Brenda is a Registered Dental Hygienist with experience in a wide range of dental procedures and office responsibilities since 2014. She values the people she works with and the opportunity to improve patients' oral health while listening to their life stories. Brenda is a proud member of a close-knit family, enjoys outdoor activities like camping and hiking, and spends quality time with her husband and two children.

Registered Dental Hygienist
Pam brings a versatile skill set to dentistry at True Dental, including organization, hospitality, discernment, and a strong faith in Jesus. With a dental career spanning since 1983, she briefly dedicated time to missionary work before returning to dental hygiene. Pam cherishes the exceptional colleagues and doctors at True Dental and enjoys outdoor activities, travel, and creating memories with her husband in her free time.
Trista
Registered Dental Hygienist
Trista is a Registered Dental Hygienist with experience since her graduation from Chattanooga State Community College in 2014. She joined True Dental in 2019, and treasures our family-like atmosphere, enabling her to provide the best care for our patients. Originally from Dalton, Georgia, she has lived in Chattanooga for 5 years with her husband and two children and enjoys staying active and spending quality time with her family.
Joyce
Registered Dental Assistant
Joyce graduated from Chattanooga College in 2019 after growing up in Jasper, TN. She loves working at True Dental because of the atmosphere and the relationships she's able to build with her coworkers and patients. She always shows compassion to our patients and is a great problem solver. Away from the office, she has two young children who she loves spending time with and enjoys watching baseball and true crime documentaries.
Becky
Registered Dental Assistant
Becky brings over 30 years of dental experience to True Dental, having started her career in 1991. A Chattanooga area native, born and raised in Soddy Daisy, she takes pride in serving her local community. Becky's favorite part of the job is the patients and the wonderful team she works alongside every day. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her two grown sons and two grandchildren, and loves crocheting and other crafty hobbies.
Deanna
Registered Dental Assistant
Deanna has been in dentistry since 2008, spending most of her career in pediatric dentistry and bringing strong communication and organizational skills to True Dental. A Chattanooga native, she loves the family-friendly environment and the team's morning prayer tradition. Outside of work, Deanna stays busy with her close-knit family and enjoys rock climbing, hiking, arts & crafts with her children, and all things glam!
Jesanyelis
Registered Dental Assistant
Jesanyelis has been in dentistry since 2018, bringing strong patient care, organization, and time management skills to True Dental, where she loves the family-oriented atmosphere. Originally from Puerto Rico, where Three Kings Day is a cherished yearly tradition, family is her greatest priority, and she loves any chance to get together at the beach. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through weightlifting.
Taylor
Registered Dental Assistant
Taylor has been a Registered Dental Assistant since 2017, specializing in oral surgery, implants, and general chairside care. She holds DANB certifications in radiology, N2O monitoring, coronal polishing, and sealants. A Chattanooga-area native, she loves that True Dental puts patients and quality first. Outside of work, Taylor enjoys spending time with her five-year-old son and is a self-proclaimed daredevil who loves roller coasters, racing, and zip lining!

Operations Manager
Michael brings over five years of managerial experience to True Dental, including 2.5 years in dentistry since starting in 2023. Born and raised in South Florida, he discovered his passion for dental care there before relocating to Chattanooga with his family for a fresh start. He loves being part of a team that helps patients feel happier and healthier. Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with family, sightseeing, and exploring new restaurants!
Kristy
OSHA Manager
Kristy has been involved in dentistry since 2017 and supported her husband's dental journey since 2009. She values True Dental's team approach to compassionate care and enjoys easing the fears of patients with past negative experiences. She wants every dental experience to be a great one. Originally from South Louisiana, she has called Chattanooga home since 2015, indulging in outdoor activities, photography, and spending time with loved ones.

Admin Assistant
Taylor brings over 5 years of administrative experience to True Dental and values the family-like atmosphere and exceptional patient care provided by the team. Originally from Chattanooga, she and her husband met in the United Kingdom before returning home to start their family. Taylor's interests outside of work include traveling, spending time with loved ones, reading, and enjoying music and nature.
Heather
Admin Assistant
Heather joins the True Dental team with a diverse background in dentistry, having previously worked as a dental assistant in pediatric dentistry, where she gained experience making clear aligners in an orthodontic lab. A Florida native for over 30 years, she graduated in 2008 as an expanded functions dental assistant and is now happy to call Chattanooga home with her husband, Raphael. Heather loves True Dental's welcoming team and 'patient first' philosophy, and even enjoys that her vans match her black scrubs. In her free time, you can find her enjoying board game nights with friends, video games, camping, going to concerts and hockey games, and spending time with her three cats and pug.

Billing Specialist
With over 20 years of dental front desk experience, Trish brings a wealth of knowledge, organization, and compassion to the True Dental team. She began her career in dentistry in 2002 and has been dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable and cared for from the moment they walk through the door.
Trish loves being part of True Dental, describing it as “the best group of people anyone could have the good fortune of knowing.” Originally from Chicago, she and her husband of 43 years moved in 2018 to be closer to their daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren, ages four and seven. Outside of work, Trish enjoys spending time with her family and caring for their lively crew of animals - goats, chickens, a donkey, and a dog, but her greatest joy is being “Grandma.”

Hailing from Nairobi, Kenya, Dr. Nandy's path, from vibrant streets to educational dreams in Chattanooga, embodies resilience and ambition. At True Dental, she leads a team dedicated to empowering patients, fostering a synergy of positivity and dedication. Beyond dentistry, Dr. Nandy's zest for life shines, whether jet-setting to distant locales, delving into podcasts, or embracing the camaraderie of CrossFit communities.
