Dr. Luke Bessmer
Doctor of Dental Surgery
Dr. Bessmer is a highly skilled dentist who enjoys helping patients achieve their dental health goals through restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in 2019 and is involved in the TN Valley Dental Study Club. Away from work, Dr. Bessmer loves working out with his wife, Faustine, and bike riding/walking with his wonderful daughters, Eloise and Mabel.
Dr. Joel Davis
Doctor of Dental Surgery
Dr. Davis graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He finds his life purpose in serving others. He believes in spreading the healing ministry of Jesus by treating the mind and the body, and not just someone’s dental needs. When he is not here in the office transforming smiles, he enjoys spending time with his family and being involved in his church through music and Bible study. He also loves to get outside and camp or mountain bike.

Interim Director of Operations
Kristy manages our marketing efforts, helping us better connect with and serve our patients.
Erin
Registered Dental Hygienist
Erin is a licensed registered dental hygienist with nearly 14 years of experience, specializing in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration. Her dental career began in 2010, and she has worked with various dental practitioners. Erin values the caring atmosphere at True Dental and enjoys combining her interests in camping, motorcycle riding, and pool while living in the charming town of Soddy Daisy with her husband and two dogs.
Traci
Registered Dental Assistant
Traci is a highly skilled Registered Dental Hygienist who has been practicing since 2004. She brings a wealth of experience from her work in private practice, community clinics, and corporate dentistry. Originally from near Lake Michigan, she moved to Chattanooga in 2017 to be closer to her family. Outside of work, Traci enjoys gardening, exploring architecture, reading, and spending time with her loved ones, including her furry companions.
Neoshell
Registered Dental Assistant
Neoshell is a highly experienced Registered Dental Assistant with over 28 years of expertise in the field. She began her dental career in 1992 and graduated from the assistant program in 1994, also pursuing expanded duties for dental assistants. Neoshell appreciates the sense of being needed and the friendly atmosphere at True Dental. She is a mother of two adult children, enjoys reading and crafts, and originally hails from Arvada, Colorado.
Anna
Registered Dental Assistant
Anna is a registered dental assistant with expertise in dental radiographs, coronal polishing, sealants, and nitrous oxide monitoring. She graduated from Chattanooga State's dental assisting program in 2023, joined True Dental in May, and is a member of the ADAA. Anna appreciates the kind environment at our office and hails from Franklin, TN. She enjoys reading, outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking, and visiting her family.
Wendy
Admin Coordinator
Wendy brings 23 years of medical field experience to True Dental. She is our current Admin Coordinator in Hixson, where she transitioned into dentistry from a front desk and insurance background. She loves the teamwork at True Dental and her lifelong connection to Chattanooga. Outside of work from our office, Wendy enjoys arts and crafts, numerous outdoor activities, and quality time with her family and friends.
Trish
Admin Coordinator
Trish always works diligently behind the scenes as our Admin Coordinator to make sure all administrative tasks run smoothly without any hiccups. If you've noticed how easy and stress-free your visit to our True Dental Hixson office has been, Trish has been a big part of that experience. She loves being able to make the lives around her run smoothly thanks to her expert knowledge and organization.
Margo
Director of Marketing
Margo, with over eight years of marketing experience and ownership of a boutique agency for four years, brings expertise in marketing strategies and business development to True Dental. Despite no background in dentistry, she values the friendly atmosphere and skilled professionals at True Dental. Originally from Collierville, TN, she now resides in Chattanooga with her husband and toddler daughter. In her spare time, Margo enjoys crafting custom jewelry, gardening, baking sourdough, and diving into audiobooks.
