Dr. Tyler Hamilton
DDS
Dr. Tyler Hamilton is passionate about hiking, camping, exercise, and spending time with his wife, Kevyn, and their dog, Appa. A graduate of Southern Adventist University and Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, he specializes in oral surgery and fixed prosthodontics. After practicing in Riverside, CA, Dr. Tyler now calls Chattanooga home. He enjoys backpacking, climbing, and exploring national parks in his free time. Japan and Glacier National Park are his favorite destinations.
Dr. Joel Davis
DDS, Owner
Dr. Davis graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He finds his life purpose in serving others. He believes in spreading the healing ministry of Jesus by treating the mind and the body, and not just someone’s dental needs. When he is not here in the office transforming smiles, he enjoys spending time with his family and being involved in his church through music and Bible study. He also loves to get outside and camp or mountain bike.

Kendra
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kendra is a Registered Dental Hygienist, who is also trained and practiced in myofunctional therapy. She started as a dental assistant in 2003 and graduated hygiene school in 2013. Kendra loves being able to help her community by providing expert and comfortable care to True Dental patients alongside her amazing teammates. Away from the office, she enjoys running her local family farm with her husband and children.
Alexis
Registered Dental Hygienist
Alexis Francis is a recent dental hygiene graduate who is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. She began her journey in dentistry by assisting Dr. Davis in the summer of 2023 before entering the hygiene program at Chattanooga State. During her studies, she also worked part-time on weekends, gaining valuable experience balancing school and work.
Alexis loves being part of the True Dental team, where the welcoming and supportive environment makes every day enjoyable and rewarding. She currently lives in Dade County, Georgia, with her parents, four sisters, and grandmother. In her free time, Alexis enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing video games, going on walks, and has recently started exploring her new hobby, tennis.
Gena
Registered Dental Assistant
Gena is a Registered Dental Assistant with over 30 years of experience. She loves being a part of the True Dental team because it feels like a big family. You will most often see her assisting with extractions and cosmetic dentistry. Gina grew up in Detroit and moved to Chattanooga when she was 19. In her free time, she enjoys collecting tea pots, gardening, and spending time with her two sons and three grandkids.

Kristy manages our marketing efforts, helping us better connect with and serve our patients.
Margo
Director of Marketing
Margo, with over eight years of marketing experience and ownership of a boutique agency for four years, brings expertise in marketing strategies and business development to True Dental. Despite no background in dentistry, she values the friendly atmosphere and skilled professionals at True Dental. Originally from Collierville, TN, she now resides in Chattanooga with her husband and toddler daughter. In her spare time, Margo enjoys crafting custom jewelry, gardening, baking sourdough, and diving into audiobooks.
Joyce
Registered Dental Assistant
Joyce graduated from Chattanooga College in 2019 after growing up in Jasper, TN. She loves working at True Dental because of the atmosphere and the relationships she's able to build with her coworkers and patients. She always shows compassion to our patients and is a great problem solver. Away from the office, she has two young children who she loves spending time with and enjoys watching baseball and true crime documentaries.
Kim
Registered Dental Assistant
Kim has worked in dentistry since 1999, with experience spanning pediatric care and public health dentistry. She is certified in coronal polishing and sealant application and brings a strong commitment to patient care shaped by more than a decade in pediatric dentistry and many years serving patients through a county health department dental clinic. She values a family-oriented environment where patients and team members feel genuinely cared for and appreciated. Kim is married to her high school sweetheart, and together they have two children. Outside of work, she enjoys flower gardening, landscaping, and spending time with family and friends.
Kathryn
Operations Manager
Kathryn has an Associates Degree in Dental Assisting and a love and passion for providing the best care possible for her community. Being a part of the True Dental team is unlike anything she's ever experienced. Kathryn loves Jesus, and away from the office, she loves to read, paint, and attend local school events for her nieces and nephews. She's a Georgia girl to her core and loves the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs. Chop chop and go Dawgs!

James
Director of Operations & Marketing
James serves on True Dental’s executive team, bringing extensive experience in leadership, communication, and administration across Australia and the United States. He is passionate about developing people, strengthening culture, building effective systems, and modeling our core values. James works closely with leaders and team members to enhance the patient experience and support the organization’s growth. He holds a Bachelor of Ministry and Theology and is a certified speaker, trainer, and coach with Maxwell Leadership. He also hosts a podcast focused on self-worth, identity, and emotional well-being and has broad experience as a television host. Outside of work, James enjoys time with family, traveling, and studying and teaching leadership, human development, and theology.
